About the Author

Author Annie Proulx has written many popular books, including Storey’s Cider with Lew Nichols. Annie has also written the bestselling novels, The Shipping News and Postcards, and has authored short stories, magazine articles and non-fiction books. She lives in Wyoming. notes:

This book is really a “bulletin”, 32 page – black and white with some good basic information from 1980. Cider production has not really changed much, but the information does feel a bit dated. This booklet sells for about $4 and is a good introduction to cider making and an informative start to your cider library. Annie Proulx went on to collaborate with Lew Nichols on the very informative and helpful book Cider: Making, Using & Enjoying Sweet & Hard Cider.
